The 9th Annual Purple Walk, dedicated to raising awareness about epilepsy, was held on Saturday 23 March with a focus on addressing epilepsy in the workplace. The Grand Palm in Gaborone continued it’s relationship with the event by making a P50 000 sponsorship.
The event welcomed the esteemed presence of First Lady Neo Masisi, marking a significant stride in advocating for epilepsy awareness. This year's Purple Walk centred on the theme "Epilepsy in the Workplace," highlighting the importance of understanding and accommodating individuals with epilepsy in professional settings.
The success of the 9th Annual Purple Walk highlights the ongoing efforts to advocate for epilepsy awareness and foster an environment of acceptance and support for individuals living with the condition.
